New Website Design

Today, I have initiated a website redesign that I hope will allow me to present important information to my followers and make it easier for users to find the information they need.  I will endeavor to research tech news items and alert my followers on what is happening in the computer industry.  I will also post information I find about potential threats using this blog, Twitter and Facebook.

Please follow me on these three media to learn of these developments as they are announced.

I also invite users to leave comments to the posts I make on this site.

Thank You.

It isn’t a lack of strategy, it is Google’s strategy. A money making strategy that allows websites to buy their way into the top of the search results pages.
Google and the other search providers charge businesses to place their “Ads” at the top of the results list. This confuses people who are not careful so that they click on the top entry and go to a site that has nothing to do with what the searcher is looking for. This can also include websites which contain viruses and other malware that automatically downloads to the user’s computer.
Not only can website designers buy their way to the top of the list, but they can manipulate the text contained in their web pages so that they can appear at the top of any search you might want to make.

Sometimes the top items are marked with the tag “Ad”, but not always. You have to be very careful what entry you click on if you want to keep your computer safe.

Thanks for your comment. I found it very interesting.
